 This disheveled area was originally going to be used as a water trapping pool, but never made it to working use.  So this area is going to be cleaned, the pool removed and metal sheets will cover the arc and insulated with a waterproof insulation.  Once the area is cleaned up, we will pour a concrete foundation and seal all of the metal/fungal resistant walls to have our Spawn Laboratory and Incubation room; complete with racks for bag culture, a library of cultures and spore prints and a laminar flow bench  for sterile culture growth on petri dishes transfered to grain spawn for substrate inoculation.

This barn will contain 3 different growing rooms, one split, for cultivating, Pink Oyster (Pleurotus Ostreatus), King Oyster (Pleurotus eryngii), Hen of the Woods (Grifola Frondosa) and Shittake (Lentinus edodes).  The grow room structures will be similar to the last image on this post, completely climate controlled and set to the species specific growth climate.
